About Jenkintown, Pennsylvania Elder Care Attorney Gerry Woods
Gerard Woods has been practicing in the field of elder law since 1994. He began practicing in this area because many of his estate planning clients needed help responding to the legal and financial challenges of parents or spouses suffering from Alzheimer's disease, dementia or other illnesses.
The Elder Care Law Center was founded to meet those specific needs and continues to this day to provide compassionate legal care to the elderly in that and a variety of other areas.
In addition to his law degree from Temple University, Gerry holds a Masters of Law degree (LL.M.) in taxation with an emphasis on estate planning. He also has extensive litigation experience, which enables him to effectively handle denied county assistance claims, administrative hearings, probate litigation and lawsuits involving elder abuse.
The Elder Care Law Center provides representation in elder law areas including Medicaid planning, estate planning, advance directives, guardianships, probate and nursing home litigation.
